Yancy Medeiros, who lost to Francisco Massaranduba on the preliminary card, he also received a 180 suspension for the same injury. However, the director of the UFC in Brazil, Giovani Decker, revealed to the “MMA Fighting” website that Medeiros has already had the injury ruled out by the middleweights – therefore, he will only be unable to fight for 45 days.

Among the main stars of the event, there were no major surprises regarding medical suspensions. Fabricio Werdum, knocked out by Stipe Miocic in the main fight, and Vitor belfort, defeated by Ronaldo Jacare, received, respectively, 45 and 60 days of hook. The winners will only need to stay away for two weeks.
