UFC announces Rodrigo Minotauro as new member of the 'Hall of Fame'

During UFC 198, former PRIDE and Ultimate champion will be honored during the ceremony at UFC 200, in July

Minotauro-RodrigoThe historic UFC 198, held last Saturday (14), in Curitiba, was the stage for an unforgettable moment for Rodrigo Minotauro. During the fight program at Arena da Baixada, the former fighter was announced as a new member of the UFC's 'Hall of Fame'. Minota's 'immortality' ceremony will take place during UFC 200, on July 7th, in Las Vegas.

Minotauro will join the organization's Hall of Fame wing of pioneers, which are fighters who debuted before November 17, 2000.

Rodrigo Minotauro He ended his professional MMA career in 2015 with a record of 34 wins, ten losses, one draw and one fight without result. The black belt was PRIDE heavyweight champion and owner of the interim belt in the same division in the UFC.

Minotaur joins names Bas Rutten, B.J. Penn, Chuck Liddell, Dan Severn, Forrest griffin, Ken Shamrock, Mark Coleman, Matt hugs, Pat Miletitch, Randy Couture, Royce gracie, Stephan bonnar e Tito Ortiz, who are already in the Ultimate 'Hall of Fame'.
