In other words, a fighter who competes in the light heavyweight category (up to 93 kg) must weigh a maximum of 100 kg in weight. check in. If this weight is exceeded, the athlete will be closely monitored by the organization, and, if there are signs of dehydration until the day of the official weigh-in, the day before the event, the fight will be cancelled.

The measure aims to prevent athletes from leaving weight loss until the last minute and thus suffering severe dehydration. There are cases of fighters losing more than 10 kg the day before the weigh-in, which can pose serious risks to the body in the long term. Last year, a fighter at the Asian ONE FC event died due to severe dehydration.
