Less than two months until the long-awaited rematch, Jon Jones continues to pick on his arch-rival Daniel Cormier on the social networks. This time, the interim light heavyweight champion poked the holder of the linear belt for his “vice syndrome”, something that Cormier himself has complained about in the past.

On his Twitter account, Jones responded to a question posed by the UFC to his followers: “Will Cormier still be champion after UFC 200? Why?” said the organization. “No, because he constantly fails when faced with greatness. Just like a bully, he breaks down when he’s in front of a real bad guy,” Jones countered.

Cormier gained the fame of “dying on the beach” after failing to win medals in wrestling at the Athens Olympics in 2004, finishing fourth, for never having won first place in the wrestling world and for being defeated precisely by Jones in an attempt to win the UFC belt, in January of last year.

However, “DC” stunned the label by finally becoming Ultimate champion in May 2015, when he beat Anthony Johnson for the vacant belt. Now, he will face his only MMA tormentor again on July 9th, in the main fight of UFC 200.
