According to witnesses, a bus with Máfia Azul fans was heading to Rio de Janeiro, where Cruzeiro will face Flamengo this afternoon in the Brazilian Championship. When passing through Avenida Nossa Senhora do Carmo, close to the Chevrolet Hall, members of the fans decided to get out of the vehicle and provoke members of the Galoucura fans, who were present at Brasil Fight to support the fighter Cesar Gordim, a member of the organization and who fought at the event .
Otávio Fernandes, 19, died at the scene after being hit in the head with an iron easel. Flávio Celso da Silva, 35 years old, suffered head trauma and remains hospitalized at Hospital João XXIII in serious condition.
