Vitor belfort is one of the biggest critics of the exclusive agreement in the supply of sports equipment and sponsorship of fighters between Reebok and UFC. “Currently, MMA is much more entertainment than sport. I am not satisfied with the way the organization is handling the sponsorship part. We are practically living in slavery. We cannot use our sponsors, as they are banned from using them inside the Octagon. We don’t even have a property”, said Vitor, in an interview with the “Sensei SporTV” program.

Belfort, one of the oldest fighters on the Ultimate squad, also assured that he hopes to leave his legacy for the sport both inside and outside the Octagon. I hope to leave a legacy so that fighters begin to become aware of the importance of having a minimum wage. It's a contact sport. I don't think it's fair for a guy to get paid $500 to get elbowed in the face. You have to have a pension, which doesn't exist. It will remain for the next generation. Former UFC light heavyweight champion and former middleweight title challenger, Vitor belfort seeks a new chance for the title of the under-84 kg division and to do so will face his compatriot Ronaldo Jacare in the co-main fight of UFC 198, next Saturday (14), in Curitiba (PR).
