Looking to recover from the series of two consecutive defeats, the Brazilian Thiago "Pitbull" Alves face John howard at UFC-124. The American Top Team athlete guarantees that the losses served as a learning experience and that he will return to the Octagon willing to get back on the path to victory.
“This December 11th Pitbull will be the best Pitbull ever. I have never felt so good, I am more mature and more professional,” he said. “Everything happens for a reason, and God knows how much I want to be champion, God knows how hard I work to make that happen,” said Pitbull, in an exclusive interview with the website SUPER FIGHTS.
The Tupiniquim athlete, however, recognizes that in defeats to Georges St Pierre and Jon Fitch made mistakes during preparation, but he takes the mistakes as experience for the fight at UFC-124.
“The two defeats I had were because I didn't deserve to win, because I didn't do the right job to get where I want (belt). But I learned and corrected everything I had to do here at the gym. Now it’s time to stop talking, get up there and show work”, added the Brazilian.
