Murder perpetrator, former MMA fighter is killed by police in Indonesia

Amokrane Sabet was 49 years old and, according to the local press, had committed several crimes in the Bali region

Former French MMA fighter Amokrane Sabet was shot dead by Indonesian police this Tuesday (03), in Bali, the city where he lived for the last few years. Sabet had stabbed a police officer to death moments before the approach that ended in his death.

According to reports in the local press, the fighter had been causing problems in the region for a long time, and had several accusations of assault, disturbance, threat against him and was still living in the area without a valid visa. According to the “Bali Coconuts” website, local police chief Sugeng Priyanto ordered warning shots to be fired at Sabet, who had attacked an officer with a knife, but he resisted arrest and was shot.
