Former UFC heavyweight title challenger, Antonio Pezão is going through a delicate phase in the organization. In his last six fights, the Brazilian suffered four defeats, had a draw and won just once. Therefore, he hopes to return to his roots to resume the path of success against Stefan struve, this Sunday (8), at UFC Rotterdam, in the Netherlands.

Pezão stated that he has great respect for Struve's career in the UFC, but considers that his skills are enough to give him victory in the duel. “Fans will see the Antonio Pezão returning to its roots, seeking victory all the time. Stefan is an incredible fighter, he is a very good fighter who knows a lot about jiu-jitsu and kickboxing. Even though I respect him a lot, the bigger he is, the bigger he will fall. I've fought with guys who have already beaten him, and that gives me more confidence”, said the fighter, in an interview with the official UFC website.

More specifically, Pezão hit alistair overeem and Travis Browne, who later triumphed over Struve. Like the Brazilian, the Dutchman is also not going through a great phase, with three defeats in the last four fights.
