Shaolin is defeated in Strikeforce

The Brazilian Victor “Shaolin” returned to the Strikeforce Octagon last night in search of rehabilitation after a poor debut in the organization. However, the Brazilian athlete was unable to impose his game against Justin Wilcox and ended up defeated in a unanimous decision by the judges. The fight was the main attraction of Strikeforce Challengers 12, an event promoted in the state of Mississippi, in the United States.

With sharp boxing, Wilcox worked well with punch combinations and defended all of “Shaolin’s” takedowns well. In the second round, after a straight right, the Brazilian felt the blow and almost suffered a knockdown, but managed to recover and continue in the fight. Behind the judges' paperwork, Vitor opened the game in the last round and accepted the exchange of blows, landing good punches on his opponent, but it was too late. In the end, Justin Wilcox won by unanimous decision from the judges (30×27, 30×27, 30×27). With the result, the Nova União black belt has accumulated four defeats in his last five fights, while Wilcox recorded his fifth consecutive victory.

Fatal change? Makhachev ignores warning and could end tragically at welterweight!
