The MMA world took a hit this weekend. North-American Jordan Parsons, a Bellator fighter, had his career brutally interrupted after he was run over in the city of Del Ray, Florida (USA). The driver did not stop to provide assistance and the athlete had part of his leg amputated.

According to the medical report, Parson’s condition is “critical”.

Jordan Parsons, 25 years old, has a professional record of 12 wins and two losses. He had a fight scheduled for May 14, at Bellator 154, in San Jose (USA), against Adam Picolotti.

After the accident, Bellator released an official statement in which they sympathize with the fighter's family.
