After almost four years in the UFC, heavyweight Shawn Jordan has a new home in MMA. “The Savage”, as he is known, was announced as the latest signing for the World Series of Fighting event, WSOF.

At 31 years old, Jordan has a professional record of 18 wins and seven losses. Having also worked for Bellator and the now-defunct Strikeforce, Jordan was defeated by Ruslan Magomedov in his last fight, in October last year, when he ended up being fired by the UFC.
In addition to Jordan, the World Series of Fighting also announced the signing of another heavyweight to its squad: former Bellator Lorenzo Hood.
Lorenzo, whose professional record is nine wins and three losses. ended up leaving the rival event without fighting, after injuring his knee during the warm-up for Bellator 141, in August last year.
