José Aldo did not spare Conor McGregor for the decision that culminated in his withdrawal from UFC 200, an event that will be held on July 9th, in Las Vegas (USA). The former featherweight champion harshly criticized the Irishman, who he considers “weak” due to recent events.

McGregor was scheduled to face Nate diaz in the main fight of the night. However, he ended up being removed from the attraction after refusing to leave Iceland, where he was training with his team, and go to Las Vegas to participate in a promotional press conference for the event.

In an interview with the website of the North American broadcaster “ESPN”, Aldo took the opportunity to criticize McGregor. “This proves how weak he is. I don't see him as an athlete and I don't respect him. In my opinion, he is weaker than everything he has ever said”, he said.

In his last fight, Aldo lost precisely to McGregor, with a knockout in just 13 seconds. The Brazilian is scheduled to fight at UFC 200, against Frankie Edgar, valid for the category's interim belt.
