Recently, it was announced that the Irish Conor McGregor would be giving up a payment of approximately US$10 million (around R$35 million, at current prices) for his departure from UFC 200, an event scheduled for July 9th and from which he was cut for refusing to participate in the promotional agenda. However, the Irishman will not be the only one to lose millions due to the controversy.

According to a survey carried out by the North American channel “ESPN”, all the losses accumulated due to the departure of Conor McGregor of the card could exceed US$45 million for the UFC, considering the difference in PPV sales without the Irishman, box office numbers, sales of licensed products and fan attendance at parties and official events.
Despite the millions of reasons to rethink Conor's departure, president Dana White was emphatic this Monday (25) and said that the Irishman is out of UFC 200, commenting on the fighter's statement that he would be back on the card. “I don't know how many more times I'll have to say that the fight won't happen. I don't know how many more press conferences I will have to attend to say this and have people believe it. For the last time, Conor McGregor is 100% out of UFC 200”, said the director.
So far, UFC 200 remains without a main fight. The event, scheduled for July 9th at the “T-Mobile Arena” in Las Vegas (USA), has two belt fights confirmed for its schedule: the interim featherweight title fight between José Aldo e Frankie Edgar and the first defense of the belt of Miesha Tate against the Brazilian Amanda nunes.
