Former UFC champion, Ronda Rousey apparently still hasn't fully digested his defeat to Holly holm in November last year, which cost him not only his Ultimate belt, but also his undefeated record as a professional MMA athlete.

In an interview with “Time” magazine, the American stated that the setback could mean that people do not remember her career as she would like. “I hope people remember me as one of the greatest fighters who ever lived, but I don't know if that will happen. I'm still mourning the person who could have won everything, but I have to get over the fact that I won't be that person”, said the fighter.
Even so, Ronda guaranteed that she will return to the UFC with the goal of regaining the belt in mind. One of her motivations is the conversation she had with a fan a few days before her fight with Holm.
“She was dying of cancer, but she went to the open training sessions to meet me. She was asking 'please, please win', and I promised she would win, but she didn't. I need to come back and win to fulfill that promise. I’m going to come back and win this title for the people who believed in me,” Ronda added.
In November 2015, Ronda fell hard against Holm, suffering a knockout in the second round. The title has already changed hands, as Holm was dethroned by Miesha Tate in March.
Rousey still doesn't know exactly when she will return to the Octagon, but the UFC has already shown interest in booking the former champion for the organization's debut in New York, on November 12th.
