The arm wrestling between Conor McGregor and the UFC ended up directly affecting the plans of Nate diaz. The American was confirmed in the main fight of the historic UFC 200, but now he doesn't know when and against whom he will return to the octagon. UFC president Dana White regretted the fighter, but declared that he would do everything to keep him in the event.

McGregor and Diaz were due to rematch at UFC 200, but the Irishman was removed from the card after refusing to go to Las Vegas (USA) to participate in a press conference to promote the event. As unlikely as McGregor's participation in the show seems, Dana declared that she still intends to keep Diaz on the schedule.

“Well, here's the thing: I didn't want Nate to get screwed in this whole thing and lose the opportunity to fight in this event. So, we talked to him, offered some opponents, and let's see what happens”, said White, in an interview with the website “TMZ”.

The fateful press conference that McGregor refused to participate in will take place this Friday (22). It is expected that the UFC will provide clarifications regarding the new UFC 200 main fight.
