Ronaldo Jacare no opponent in Strikeforce
Strikeforce planned to hold a GP in the middleweight category at the beginning of 2011, but the organization's plans were shaken up. The tournament would define the next challenger for the Brazilian's belt Ronaldo “Jacare”, but this weekend, the organization's president, Scott Coker, stated that the GP will no longer take place.
“We hoped it would happen, but we didn't achieve it. We are happy with Jacaré as our champion. He is a great fighter and a great representative of our organization”, said Coker, in an interview with the North American website MMA Weekly.
