Josh Grispi will be the next challenger for the UFC featherweight belt, currently held by José Aldo. The North American recognizes the Brazilian's technical qualities, but guarantees that he can leave the octagon victorious.
“I saw him before, when he started, being very aggressive with those flying knees and all the crazy acrobatics he does,” said Grispi, in an interview with the website Sherdog.
“But then I saw him (Aldo) calm down a little in the title fights, perhaps to conserve energy, as they are five-round fights. He is definitely a mature fighter, who has awareness inside the octagon… He is a complete package”, he praised.
However, Grispi guarantees that he can find flaws in Aldo's game and become the new UFC featherweight champion.
“Everyone is human,” he said. “No matter how you look at it, everyone is human. He can be knocked out or submitted. I’m going to find the weaknesses when I get there,” he added.
The fight between José Aldo and Josh Grispi is on the main card of UFC-125, an event that takes place on January 1st, in Las Vegas, in the United States.
