The astral hell of the Brazilian fighter Diego Brandao added another chapter at the end of last week. The man from Ceará was arrested in the city of Albuquerque, in the United States, after allegedly attacking an employee of a strip club last Friday (15).

According to the North American outlet “Albuquerque Journal”, Brandão had a disagreement with the local DJ after leaving the establishment and trying to return inside shortly afterwards. Due to his behavior, the Brazilian was prevented from returning, which would have left him angry.

According to the report, Diego then returned to the scene with a gun in hand and pointed it at a man. The fighter then hit a nightclub employee with the gun and pointed it again to flee the scene. Thus, the man from Ceará was arrested on charges of serious assault with a lethal weapon. His bond is set at $15.

Brandão has been a UFC athlete since 2011, when he joined the organization after winning the title on the reality show The Ultimate Fighter 14. The Ceará native is a training partner of the organization's former champion Jon Jones, who has also recently been involved in several problems with the law in Albuquerque.

In his last fight in the octagon, Brandão was submitted by Brian ortega, accumulating his fourth defeat in the UFC (compared to six wins). To make matters worse, he was caught in the drug test on the night of the fight with traces of marijuana.
