Hendo on the fight against Babalu: “It will be an exciting fight”

After debuting with a defeat in Strikeforce, Dan Henderson prepares to attempt rehabilitation in the event against the Brazilian Renato "Babalu" Sobral on December 4th, in St. Louis, in the United States. The former Pride champion, who already defeated the Tupiniquim black belt at the Rings GP in 2000, guarantees that the fight will not have the atmosphere of a rematch, as a lot of time has already passed since the first meeting between them.

“I am a different guy and he (Babalu) is a different guy now too. It's almost like it wasn't a rematch. It was in a different organization and with different rules. There was no point punching the head on the ground, they came back to the fight on the feet very quickly. It really makes it a different fight,” said Hendo, speaking to the North American website Examiner. The fighter also stated that the duel against Babalu will be a great challenge.

PUBLICITY:

“There are a lot of tough fights in the light heavyweight division and Babalu is certainly one of them. I think it will be a very exciting fight”, concluded Hendo.
