The situation crowns a turnaround experienced by Hunt since arriving in the UFC. The veteran was only hired because he was still under contract with PRIDE, an organization acquired by Ultimate at the end of the last decade. However, the UFC even offered a proposal for Hunt to resign, which was not met.

In his most recent appearances, the “Super Samoan” knocked out Antonio Pezão e Frank mir, with both duels taking place in Australia. The heavyweight has already expressed his desire to have a rematch with junior gypsy, who defeated him in 2013, and try to win the UFC heavyweight title.
