At the press conference, Cigano is challenged to fight at UFC 200 and approves: 'Why not?'

After achieving his first victory in almost a year and a half, beating Ben Rothwell in the main fight of UFC Croatia this Sunday (10), Junior Gypsy he can return to the Octagon faster than anyone imagines. At the press conference after the event, Cigano was challenged by Derrick Lewis, who also fought on the card, for a fight at UFC 200, in July, and gave a positive nod to the possibility.

“I'm happy that the heavyweight division is having this moment and that there are so many new guys coming in, and doing what they're doing, messing everything up. But, it's very good and, at some point, I think that if they continue to win like they did tonight we will have to fight against each other, and it will be a pleasure...”, said Cigano, who was interrupted by Lewis.

“UFC 200, you and me!” said the Brazilian’s tormentor Gabriel Napao in the co-main event of the night. “Why not?” replied Cigano, who also laughed at the challenge.

UFC 200 takes place on July 9th, in Las Vegas (USA). The main fights of the night so far are: the rematch between Conor McGregor e Nate diaz, the women's bantamweight belt dispute between Miesha Tate and the Brazilian Amanda nunes and the duel for the interim featherweight title between José Aldo e Frankie Edgar.
