With a card marked by busy fights, but mainly expressive individual performances, UFC Fight Night Croatia ended up not awarding any fight with the traditional “Fight of the Night” award. Instead, four “Performance of the Night” bonuses were awarded, which crown the good performances of the fighters.
One of the athletes who received the bonus for his performance was Derrick Lewis, executioner of the Brazilian Gabriel Napao in the co-main event of the night. For his performance, Lewis was awarded a check for US$50 (approximately R$180 at current exchange rates).
In addition to Lewis, the other three athletes who earned the night's bonuses were three with knockouts on the night's preliminary card: Jared Cannonier, who knocked out Cyril Asker; Alejandro Perez. who beat Ian Entwistle; and Mairbek Taisumov, who dispatched Damir Hadzović. Just like Derrick, they also took home $50 each.
