Lorenzo Fertitta, along with his brother, Frank, owns 81% of UFC shares. The businessman has always preferred to work on the commercial expansion of the brand and has never given his thoughts on the fight match, however, it seems that a fight has caught the millionaire's attention. Speaking during UFC-121, held last Saturday (23), Lorenzo stated that he would like to see the duel between the Brazilian Anderson Silva, middleweight champion, against Canadian Georges St Pierre, champion of the welterweight division.
“I want to see this fight,” Fertitta said. “This is probably the fight I most want to see”, repeated the businessman.
However, before this possible challenge, Anderson and St. Pierre have commitments scheduled to defend their belts.
St. Pierre stares Josh koscheck at UFC-124, on December 11th, while Anderson faces his compatriot Vitor belfort at UFC-126, February 5, 2011
