Seeking to recover from the setback suffered by Patrício Freire in his last fight in Bellator, the Brazilian Wilson reis faced yesterday (21) the Lithuanian Deividas Taurosevicius in the 33rd edition of the event. The Tupiniquim athlete won the fight via split decision from the judges, obtaining his fourth victory in six fights in the organization. With this result, Reis reaches 11 victories in his career, where he still has two defeats.

In the main fight of the night, Bellator lightweight champion, Eddie Alvarez, defeated former UFC fighter, Roger Huerta by technical knockout (medical interruption at the end of the second round) in a non-valid fight for the category title.
