the american Brendan Schaub will be the Brazilian's next opponent Gabriel Napao at UFC-121, an event that takes place this Saturday (23), in Anaheim, in the United States. The former American football player believes he can surprise the Brazilian black belt, despite recognizing the Brazilian's abilities.

“Gabriel is one of those guys who can do everything, but at the same time, he makes some mistakes and I intend to take advantage of that,” he said. “I want to use my speed and athleticism to make a difference in this fight,” said the fighter, in an interview with the North American radio program MMA Mania.

Schaub also says that despite believing he has an advantage in the stand-up fight, if Napão wants to put his jiu-jitsu into practice in the fight, he will be prepared.

“I definitely think my biggest advantage is in my striking and he (Napão) believes his advantage is on the ground. But I train every day with phenomenal black belts at my gym. So if he makes me go to the ground, I’m also prepared,” he concluded.
