It's been almost eight months, but English Michael Bisping doesn't seem to forget the defeat against Wanderlei Silva at UFC-110, in February this year. Speaking at the UFC-120 Press Conference, the British fighter stated that he does not consider himself defeated in the fight against the Brazilian athlete.
“In addition to the defeat to Dan Henderson, and taking away the stupid decision (of the judges) against Wanderlei Silva, I don't think I lost any of the middleweight fights. I was defeated by Dan Henderson, and that’s it,” Bisping said.
“I know, I feel like I won that fight against (Wanderlei) Silva, and apart from Henderson, I've never been beaten at middleweight. I would love to avenge that loss to Wanderlei. I would love to fight him again… You know, Wanderlei asked for a rematch. I think if he asked for a rematch it's because he knows deep down in his soul that I defeated him. I didn't have any marks in that fight, his face was completely disfigured.”
