In preparation for his return to the Octagon, Tito Ortiz intensifies your training to combat Matt hamill at UFC-121. Looking to surprise his opponent, Ortiz invited the Brazilian Ricardo Demente, world jiu-jitsu champion, to perfect his ground fighting.
Living legend of combat sports, upon learning that Ricardo Demente was in the United States, Tito Ortiz, through a friend, immediately tried to invite the athlete from Ribeirão Preto to be part of his team.
“I need to get my jiu-jitsu to an excellent level and Ricardo is one of the names at the moment, he has been achieving great victories and looking for his space”, said the former UFC champion
Already for Ricardo Demente, being able to be alongside one of the most famous fighters in the history of MMA is a unique opportunity.
“Tito welcomed me like a friend and is happy with the first results of the training. But I am the one who is honored and happy that this door is opening in my career. And I’m taking the opportunity to learn pure MMA with one of the biggest names in the world,” he says.
