UFC-79 anti-doping test results released

The Nevada State Athletic Commission administered an anti-doping test to 12 of the 20 fighters who participated in UFC-79, held on December 30th in Las Vegas, and all tests were negative for the use of drugs, anabolic steroids and illegal substances for competition.

The fighters tested were the two contenders for the UFC welterweight title, Matt hugs e Georges St Pierre, in addition to those selected: Mark Bocek, Manny Gamburyan, Melvin Guillard, Chuck Liddell, Dean Lister, Lyoto Machida, Jordan Radev, Wanderlei Silva and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou. Rich Clementi was also included on the list, as a precaution, as he returned from an 8-month suspension for cocaine use before his fight against Joe Stevenson at UFC Fight Night 9 in April.

Fatal change? Makhachev ignores warning and could end tragically at welterweight!
