Fight between Léo Santos and Evan Dunham postponed until UFC 199

Due to Maurício Shogun's selection for the UFC 198 card, the Brazilian's fight had its date changed

The lineup of Mauritius Shogun for UFC 198 in Curitiba (PR), an event in which the former champion will face Corey anderson, ended up representing the departure of another Brazilian athlete from the card. Due to the new fight on the schedule, the duel between the TUF Brasil 2 champion Leo Santos and the North American Evan dunham was postponed to UFC 199, in California (USA), in June.

At 36, Leo Santos has a professional record of 15 wins, three losses and one draw. The Nova União athlete remains undefeated in the octagon, with four wins and a draw, and comes from three consecutive victories – the most recent of which over Kevin Lee at UFC 194, in December 2016.

Yes, Evan dunham, 34 years old, has a record of 17 wins and six losses. In Ultimate since 2009, and with more than 15 fights for the organization, Dunham has alternated between good and bad moments, but now comes from three consecutive victories, the most recent over Joe lauzon at the TUF 22 Finale, one day before the last fight of Leo Santos.

UFC 199 takes place on June 4th, at “The Forum”, in Inglewood, in the metropolitan region of Los Angeles, California (USA). The main fight of the night will mark the rematch between Luke Rockhold e Chris Weidman for the middleweight belt. In the co-main event, Dominick Cruz will put the bantamweight belt on the line against his great rival Urijah faber.
