UFC 200, scheduled for July 9th in Las Vegas (USA), was announced with the promise of becoming the biggest event in the organization's history. So far, however, no fights have been confirmed for the card. However, president Dana White let slip during an interview at least one athlete already guaranteed on the card: the Irishman Conor McGregor.

“He wants to fight as soon as possible. He wants to come back soon and wants to fight again anyway. We are working on who his next opponent will be”, said the director, in an interview with the North American radio “ESPN”. “In this business, (the will) has to burn, there has to be that desire inside you to fight. Conor McGregor is the perfect example. This guy will come back and fight again at (UFC) 200”, he added.

In his last appearance in the Octagon, McGregor suffered his first setback as an Ultimate athlete and was submitted by Nate diaz. The Irishman, however, remains the featherweight champion and has hinted that he will put his title on the line for the first time in his next fight.
