Elizeu Capoeira faces Omari Akmedov on UFC Tampa's Brazilian card

Paranaense will be the seventh Tupiniquim athlete to take part in the event on April 16th, in Florida

The UFC Fight Night Tampa card is becoming more and more Brazilian. The Ultimate organization confirmed the presence of the seventh athlete from Brazil at the event, scheduled for April 16th. This is from Paraná Elizeu Capoeira, which will face the Russian Omari Akmedov.

Elizeu Capoeira has a professional record of 14 wins and five losses. The CM System athlete comes from a defeat to Nicholas Dalby in his octagon debut, in May last year, at UFC Goiânia.

Omari Akmedov has a record of 15 wins and three losses. The Russian is also coming off a defeat in his last appearance, in December last year, when he was knocked out by the Brazilian Serginho Moraes at the TUF 22 Finale.

UFC Fight Night Tampa takes place on April 16th and will feature a lightweight duel as its main event. Tony Ferguson e Khabib Nurmagomedov. Besides Elizeu Capoeira, the other six Brazilian representatives on the card will be: Glover Teixeira, Lyoto Machida, Bethe Correia, Hacran Dias, Cezar Mutant e Gaius Monster.
