The ninth edition of WOCS took place this Saturday, at Clube de Regatas Flamengo, in Rio de Janeiro. The event produced by Tatá Duarte and Phillip Lima featured eight MMA fights that excited the Rio public. In the main fight of the night, former UFC fighter Alexandre “Baixinho” knocked out Alexander Andreotti in the first round. The expected duel between Fernando Paulon and Alan Chatuba ended without result, due to an illegal knee applied by Paulon. Check out the other results from the show:

– Rogério Paraíba (TFT, Brazil) submitted Steven Muldrow (USA) with a triangle in R2;
– Fernando Paulon (BTT) and Alan Chatuba (Relma/Minotauro Team) – No Contest;
– Atila (Infight) submitted Lucas Bob Sponja (TFT) with a triangle in R3;
– Willian Viana (TFT) submitted Gleison Souza (BPT) with a rear naked choke in R1;
– Felipe Boanada (Honorio JJ) defeated Diego Costa (Instigação/ TFT) in the unanimous decision of the judges;
– D’angelo (NG Combate) defeated Janilson Silva (Infight) in a unanimous decision by the judges;
– Carlinhos (BTT) knocked out Edvan Madureira (NU) in R2.
