Fired by the UFC at the end of last year, Fabio Maldonado has been maintaining an intense routine to stay active. Last Saturday (5), the “Caipira de Aço” had his second boxing match in two weeks and won again, this time in spectacular fashion.

Maldonado faced Alessandro Bernardo from Bahia at the International Memorial Boxing Challenge, in Santos, on the coast of São Paulo. Just a few seconds into the fight, the Sorocabano cornered his rival on the ropes, fired a well-aimed cross and knocked Bernardo out.
