The week was marked by the historic UFC 196, an event that took down two of the biggest stars in Ultimate today: Conor McGregor, finished by Nate diaz in the main fight, and Holly holm, who ended up losing the women's bantamweight title to Miesha Tate. Furthermore, the event also had the participation of four Brazilians and the country's success was 50%.
Other important facts were: the agreement of Wanderlei Silva with Bellator, after being released from his contract by the UFC and having his sentence reduced by the Nevada Athletic Commission, the confirmation of UFC 198 in Curitiba in May and a huge press conference promoted by Ultimate in order to publicize its calendar for the coming months.
