Almost two weeks after experiencing a huge scare following his fight at Bellator, Dada 5000 was released from the hospital where he was admitted, in Houston, Texas (USA).

The fighter, whose real name is Dhafir Harris, suffered a cardiac arrest shortly after losing to Kimbo Slice at Bellator 149 on February 19. Furthermore, the fighter suffered kidney complications due to the weight loss, as well as a fracture in his orbital face.

Dada 5000's family announced, on the fighter's Facebook account, that the scare is now behind him. “Dada 5000 has been released from the hospital and is now at home in South Florida. He wants to thank everyone for their support. He will soon be available to tell his story,” he says.

Harris, 38 years old, had his third professional MMA fight and suffered his first loss. Before that, he had won two fights in 2010 and 2011.
