Challenger for the UFC women's bantamweight belt, Miesha Tate wants to surprise this Saturday (5) and displace the champion, Holly holm, considered the favorite for the fight. Even though Holm is known for her stand-up game, which has already won her world boxing titles, Miesha believes that striking could be her way to victory.

The American admits that the champion has high-level standing skills, but has doubts about her ability to absorb blows. “I think Holly's chin might be a little suspicious. I've seen her swing her legs a few times. There were some punches that didn't feel any stronger than the ones I would throw, that's for sure. I've seen some of her fights and I think her chin is suspicious. I saw Raquel [Pennington, Holm's first UFC opponent] take her down with a blow and even Ronda [Rousey, former champion] swinging with a left hook. This makes me think she has great striking, but a glass chin. I don’t know”, said Tate, in a press conference reproduced by the North American website “MMA Fighting”.

Even though she is confident of victory, the challenger avoided saying what the outcome of the fight will be, but she is certain: “I can't give specific predictions about the fight. Never know. That's what's amazing about it. But I can promise that I will win on Saturday. That’s all I know,” she declared.
