The Ibirapuera Gymnasium, in the capital of São Paulo, hosts the twenty-second edition of the Jungle Fight. The event will feature the organization's first world title fight, with the semifinals between Brazilians Yuri Marajó and Francisco Massaranduba and between the Peruvian Manuelo Morales and the Mexican Nino Marroquin. The winners qualify for the grand final, which will be the last fight of the night. Another highlight of the promotion will be the super fight between Edward Pamplona e Edilberto Crocotá.
“This edition will be excellent, another milestone in the history of Jungle. We will have the debut of Pamplona at the event, one of the biggest idols here in São Paulo, and the definition of the world champion of Jungle Fight”, says Wallid Ismail, organizer of the Jungle Fight.
“We also just signed an exclusive contract with Globosat. Until 2012, all live broadcasts of the event will be on Combate and, 21 days later, the best fights will be replayed on SporTV”, said the organizer.
