Brazil has a new representative in the Ultimate middleweight division. The kickboxer Maiquel Falcao was announced as a new UFC signing and already has a date set for his debut. The Tupiniquim athlete will measure forces against Gerald harris at UFC-123, an event scheduled for November 20, in Detroit, United States.
Maiquel has a record of 25 wins, 3 losses and has a streak of 7 consecutive victories, the last being over Wendres “Godzilla”, at Arena Gold Fights, held in July. Harris is also coming off a victory over Dave Branch at UFC-116.
UFC-123 also features two more Brazilians in action. On the preliminary card, the undefeated Edson Junior will also make his debut in the organization in front of Darren Elkins and in the main fight of the night, Lyoto Machida will face Quinton “Rampage”Jackson.
