the veteran Josh barnett is the newest addition to Strikeforce's heavyweight division. The former UFC champion joins the likes of Fedor Emelianenko, Fabricio Werdum and the Dutch Alistar Overeem, current owner of the heavyweight belt on the show. The fighter revealed in an official note the agreement with the organization and says he is ready for new challenges:

I want to compete against the best in the category, the best in the world and looking for another belt in my career”, said Josh Barnett, who still doesn't have a scheduled date for his debut at the event.
