Michael Bisping has always taken a very critical stance regarding the positive anti-doping test of Anderson Silva, your next opponent. The Englishman has already made several comments and jokes about the subject, which even sparked a fight between the two in recent weeks. This, however, bothered Anderson's team, who asked Bisping to simply stop mentioning the subject.

This is what the English fighter himself assured, who was intrigued by the situation. “Anderson's manager called my boxing coach immediately after that [the argument]. He told me to back off. 'Tell Michael to stop mentioning steroids.' No way. This is very interesting”, said the fighter, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Fighting”.
For Bisping, the request is an indication that Anderson is experiencing emotional turmoil ahead of his return. “Anderson is under a lot of pressure. I'm under pressure too, but he's the big one Anderson Silva. He is returning after testing positive for steroids. Is there a better way to turn things around than to beat me and try to fight for the belt?”, asked the athlete, who, however, believes that “Spider” will never be able to become champion again.
"This will not happen. The category is now much better than it was before. He was beating a bunch of bums back in the day. I believe he wouldn’t be able to deal with any top 5 in the middleweight category, but he needs to beat me,” he commented.
