The UFC featherweight champion, Conor McGregor, spared no criticism of his Brazilian rivals Rafael dos Anjos e José Aldo, who considers them to be “cowards” after the latest events involving the main fight of UFC 196.

The Irishman was due to face Dos Anjos on March 5th, but the Brazilian left the fight after suffering a foot injury. Ultimate then offered Aldo the opportunity to take revenge on McGregor, but the former champion didn't accept because he claimed he didn't have enough time to prepare.

With his usual sharp tongue, McGregor needled the Brazilian duo. “I saw Dos Anjos’ injury and it’s just a scratch. Did you see? It could be solved with ice and anti-inflammatories! If he went to a doctor, he would send him away. He broke her foot and her vagina on the same day. A lot of people say they want to fight me at any time, but when the time comes, they back out,” said McGregor, in a press conference this Wednesday (24).

The Irishman believes that Aldo should stay away from fighting for a year and a half to recover from the knockout suffered in December last year. “I hit José's head on the ground like it was a basketball. He needs to be away for a year and a half for health reasons. He says he would train for a rematch, but then says he's not ready. This sport is full of cowards,” he added.
