BJ Penn's return to UFC will be delayed due to alleged rape investigation

The former two-division UFC champion B.J. Penn he had been taking for granted his return to the Octagon in the coming months, and had even returned to training at Jackson's MMA gym. However, recent accusations of sexual violence against the Hawaiian caused Ultimate to rethink the decision and leave the fighter suspended until the investigation into the case is completed.

Due to these serious allegations, the UFC has postponed plans to list Penn in a future fight until further details are determined,” the organization said in an official statement.
