Veteran of the first season of the reality show The Ultimate Fighter Brazil, Francisco Massaranduba will return to fight in Brazil in search of his sixth consecutive victory in the octagon. massaranduba will face North American Yancy Medeiros at UFC 198, in May, in Brazil.

At 37, massaranduba has a professional record of 19 wins and four losses as a professional in MMA. The TUF veteran's five straight wins were over Leandro Buscapé, Akbarh Arreola, Norman Parke, Chad Laprise and Ross Pearson. Despite his good run, the Brazilian is not in the top-15 of the lightweight category. Information about the fight was released on the “Combate” channel website.
Yancy Medeiros, 28 years old, has a record of 12 wins, three losses and one fight without result. The North American is coming off a victory over the Canadian John makdessi in December, at UFC 194.
UFC 198 takes place on May 14, in Brazil, in a city yet to be defined. The event should feature a heavyweight belt dispute between Fabricio Werdum e Stipe Miocic. The co-main fight, however, has already been defined and will put the Brazilians face to face. Ronaldo Jacare e Vitor belfort.
