Vitor belfort He is one of the great names in the history of world MMA, a pioneer in the sport, a former UFC champion and, soon, he will also be a student at Stanford University, one of the largest universities in the United States. Vitor himself took to social media to celebrate his approval.

“It is with great pride that I come to tell you that I have been accepted into Stanford, one of the main teaching and research universities in the world. I learned that education and sport are the foundation for anyone, but education undoubtedly comes first. It's never too late for you to achieve what you've always dreamed of, just believe and work hard for it!”, wrote the “Phenomenon”, on his profile on Instagram.

At 38, Vitor belfort has a professional record of 25 wins and eleven losses. The “Phenomenon” returns to the Octagon on May 14th against Ronaldo Jacare, in the co-main fight of UFC 198. Vitor did not reveal which course he will enroll in or when classes will begin.
