Residents of 19 Brazilian cities will have the chance to see the return of Anderson Silva to the octagon, on February 27th. The former UFC middleweight champion's fight against Michael Bisping will be broadcast live in cinemas, starting at 18pm Brasília time.
The broadcast is an initiative of the Cinelive cinema chain and the “Combate” channel, which holds the rights to the UFC in Brazil. Tickets are available on the network's official website and cost R$60.
In total, 26 cinemas will broadcast the fight, in the following cities: Balneário Camboriú (SC), Bauru (SP), Belo Horizonte (MG), Brasília (DF), Brusque (SC), Campinas (SP), Curitiba (PR), Maringá (PR), Niterói (RJ), Nova Friburgo (RJ), Porto Alegre (RS), Recife (PE), Resende (RJ), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Santos (SP), São Paulo (SP), Três Rios (RJ), Uberaba (MG), Vila Velha (ES).
Anderson and Bisping will take part in the main fight of the UFC in London, England. It will be the Brazilian's first fight since he was suspended for doping last year, when he was caught using anabolic and anxiolytic substances.
