Brazilians Juliana Lima and Marcos Pezão are confirmed for UFC 197

UFC 197, an event scheduled for April, has just seen the addition of two Brazilian athletes to its lineup. They are Juliana Lima from Minas Gerais, known as “JuThai”, and Marcos Rogério de Lima from São Paulo, or Marcos Foot, former TUF Brasil 3 participant.

Juliana, 33 years old and whose professional record in MMA is eight wins and two losses, will face Mexican Jessica Aguilar, former champion of the World Series of Fighting event. The Brazilian will try to extend her current run to three consecutive victories as Aguilar seeks rehabilitation after being defeated by Claudinha gadelha in his Ultimate debut.

UFC 197 takes place on April 23, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas (USA). In the main fight of the night, former champion Jon Jones returns to the octagon and challenges the current light heavyweight title holder, Daniel Cormier – precisely his last challenger before his suspension. Furthermore, in the co-main event, Demetrious Johnson puts the flyweight belt on the line against the Olympic champion Henry Cejudo.
