The UFC revelation Jon Jones should face Forrest griffin later this year, but due to an injury to the former champion, the young American's opponent will be different.
“I'm waiting for Ryan bader or Minotouro, I will face the winner of that fight”, said Jones in an interview with Inside MMA. The athlete, just 23 years old, also stated that if he wins his next fight, he could have the chance to compete for the category belt.
“I believe I'm two fights away from fighting for the belt. I had a meeting with Dana (White) and Lorenzo (Fertitta), they said that if I beat Bader or Nogueira, they will give me one more fight, however, if I win well, I will have the chance to fight for the title”, said the fighter.
The fight between Rogério Minotouro e Ryan bader is on the main card of UFC-119, an event that takes place on September 25th, in Indianapolis, in the United States
