the entrepreneur of Chris Cyborg, George Prajin, admitted that in the current scenario it is highly unlikely that the Brazilian will fight in the UFC. The fighter's agent, however, avoided criticizing the North American organization and stated that his objective is to make Cyborg gain notoriety even without entering the octagon.

Cyborg is currently the Invicta FC featherweight champion (up to 66 kg). As her weight division does not exist for women in Ultimate, Prajin tried to get her to move down to bantamweight (up to 61 kg), or even get her a catchweight fight against the then champion, Ronda Rousey.

However, the businessman recognizes that Cyborg's only chance to finally debut in the UFC would be in a fight with the new bantamweight belt holder, Holly holm. “Our only hope is a desperation move, which is highly unlikely. It depends on whether the UFC sees value in a fight Holly holm x Cyborg in catch weight. But the UFC has a weight class to protect. If Cris crushes Holly at UFC 200, it will hurt her value as a champion. I'm sure the UFC doesn't want to do that. But I understand the UFC's position. We can’t tell them how to manage their businesses”, he pondered, in an interview on the website of the North American broadcaster “ESPN”.

For the businessman, however, this should not hinder his plans. “If last year we focused on Ronda Rousey, this will be Chris Cyborg. She wants to show that she is the best in the world without depending on anyone’s shadow,” she stated.
