Last Saturday (6), Roy Nelson defeated Jared Rosholt and returned to the winning track, putting an end to a terrible phase that the “fat UFC guy” lived in the Octagon. However, anyone who thinks that Nelson was 100% satisfied with the victory is mistaken. He left the fight with a bitter taste, and blamed Rosholt for it.

According to Nelson, the opponent avoided open combat as much as possible, which frustrated not only the fans but himself. “I worked hard in training. I wanted to fire up the fans, I know I wanted to give them what they wanted: an explosion, a fun fight to watch. I didn't think he [Rosholt] would run the whole time. He's a great athlete, but he's not a fighter, and I showed that to the world. I really like to fight. I'm not an athlete, I'm a fighter. So, it’s frustrating”, said Nelson, in an interview after the fight.

PUBLICITY:

Nelson, 39 years old, was coming off three consecutive losses in the UFC. With the triumph over Rosholt, he reached a professional record of 21 wins and 12 losses in MMA. It was his first decision victory in the UFC.
